Fantasy author, wrote Magician, my favourite book of all time, along with many other books in the same universe, the first maybe half of which I've read. I came across him as a teenager when my aunt gave me a large collection of books she thought I'd like which once belonged to my older cousins, including much of The Riftwar Cycle.
