Jonathan Swift. 1726. A classic of English literature, apparently a satire of human nature and the 'traveller's tales' literary genre.

Recommended by Neil deGrasse Tyson[1].

Apparently something in this book inspired Laputa: Castle in the Sky, so that should be interesting to look out for.

  1. "To learn, among other satirical lessons, that most of the time humans are Yahoos."
