Read on the 20th of August 2010. A short story set in a virtual reality game in which the NPCs are scripted with advanced AI technology to react realistically. The "princess", or whatever, starts talking as though she has become self-aware and is confused about some of the things she's noticed the player saying.
Quite disturbing actually, I really liked it. The reaction and thoughts of the player were quite compelling...
