Great film, possibly my favourite, certainly was for years after watching it. Possibly the film I've seen the most times. I remember seeing a friend's older sister in town just after she'd seen it at the cinema, I think she said it was confusing, but I'm not sure when I first watched it myself. Definitely massively influential part of my teenage years, anyway.
It has no sequels that I know of.
The Animatrix is awesome though.
